116th Prog at Saratnagar, Mathurapur on 14.06.2026
A complete new area to us, a lovely place to conduct social work with the students of Angel House Siksha Sadan (classes pre nursery to class IV) and with the girl students of Saratnagar Madhyamick Sikshakendra, Mathurapur.
Our activities were as follow : a) Distribtion of 3 exercise books, two pens, two pencils, one cutter and one eraser each to all the 150 students of Angel House and Tiffin for all, b) young girls were given menstrual health and hygiene program, given them six months’ sanitary napkins, one bath soap, one packet of detergent powder, one box of mosquito coils, one piece of undergarment and healthy tiffin each to all the 100 students.
Head Master of the School spoke the gathering along with our Executive Committee members and everyone’s speech was almost the same, helping the students with educational accessories and also taking care of girls’ health and hygiene. two of our lady members Ms Ankita Das and Mrs Debalina Ukil nicely presented the issues before them and its solution.
Our vibrant lady members conducted awareness prog and some came forward and joined interactive session and some still felt shy and we are sure in the long run shy girls will also come forward and join the mainstream. We thanked the school authority for lovely arrangements.
Spending a long 12 hours journey, we returned home making the program successful.
