80th prog at Changdona, Canning …distribution of educational accessories, Puja clothes, awareness on menstrual health & hygiene with tiffin and lunch for all.
On 30th September 2023, our social initiative prog with the students of Dharapara Changdona Swami Vivekananda Seva Sangha, Canning, where we reached in a cyclonic weather, our beloved well wisher Aditya Academy Senior Secondary School, Dumdum was also supposed to join us, but the parents of the students did not find the weather comfortable and finally without their presence we conducted the program. During the discussion we ere told that the village mothers need at least 2 nos of Sewing machines under self help program. We promised them to look into the matter with all seriousness.
Apart from educational accessories we handed over new sarees for Puja festival to 22 mothers of the village, our Lady Brigade conducted awareness prog on menstrual health and hygiene, given 3 months’ napkins and tiffin and lunch were also provided for all.
Students of the Seva Sangha presented beautiful cultural programs and various types of gymnastics and one of our members was very happy to see their performance and donated Rs.2000/- on the spot for further development.
The program during cyclone with huge rain, we ended with beautiful experience and the students of Aditya Academy were really unfortunate and missed such a lovely social outreach program.
