114th prog jointly with Kumar P N Roy Public Charitable Trust at Basanti, Sundarbans, 24 Pgs. on 07.06.2026
We are here for the first time, in a village at Basanti, Sundarbans, we visited, discussed the economic scenario of the families living there and found them poor and finally decided to help the girls there.
On 7th June 2026 we conducted an awareness program on menstrual health and hygiene among 100 girls. We gifted them six months sanitary napkins, one bath soap, one pkt of detergent power, one box of mosquito coils and one undergarment each to all the participating girls alongwith a packet of small tiffin.
Girls joined the interactive sessions and stepped forward and put hesitation behind, which was praised by our senior members and claimed our victory towards menstrual health and hygiene issues.
On the same day, we handed over Ration (100 kgs rice, 5 kgs Musur Dal, 3 kgs soyabean and 2 litres white oil ) to Maheshpur Rakhalchandra Sebashram, where 30 orphan boys stay and study.
Spending a long 12 hours journey we returned home with full energy making the prog a huge success.
