117th Prog on Self -help activities at Canning, South 24 Parganas on 11.07.2026

This is not the first time we conducted such a program on self help activities among 19 neglected mothers of Changdona village, Canning, South 24 Parganas by helping with distribution of 5 kgs “minnow” to 18 mothers alongwith food powder to all the mothers and to 1 mother we distributed 30 (thirty) chicks since she has no pond of her own.

The initiative was appreciated by everybody and two years back we also conducted one such self help initiative at Deria, Diamond Harbour, where we distributed 20 chicks each to 20 women and there have sold all grown up chickens, sold eggs to run their family and also invested some funds for new chicks to make a continuation.

In recent times, since job less persons are increasing daily, we are also thinking of conducting such programes in good numbers.

We congratulated all our vivid participating members for making this porogram successful spending five hours time from 7 am.
