109th Prog at Changdona, Canning on 28.12.2025
The destination, Changdona, Canning (Dharapara Swami Vivekananda Seva Sangha) has been our regular activity area for the last 4 years only because the members of the Sangha, the villagers and the students at large are truly social minded and we feel happy enough to be a part of their various requirements.
Sri Balaram (Tufan) Dhara, Secretary of the Seva Sangha presided over the program and praised for all our activities with them.
This time will 50 blankets for widows and non veg lunch for all were conducted very nicely. The main part of this prog was that for the first time all the four juniors members of our organisation went, spoke before the widow sisters and mothers and distributed blankets to have sound sleeps during cold waves.
Our Junior leaders namely Sourav Dutta, Sanglap Dutta , Kaustuv Nandy and Tista Nath conducted the program with all seriousness and all of them made statements how much care our organisation has been taking for this village and our Sourav also informed that an Adult Education Centre will soon be set up here in this village so that illiterate mothers can learn to write their names and make signatures on their own. The mothers in attendance applauded.
At the end, our members distributed lunch to the beneficiaries and ended the prog with good note.
